Washington, D.C. is the nation's capital and the home to the National Mall, a beautiful park filled with incredible monuments and memorials. On this tour, I'll focus on four of my favorite memorials honoring important individuals in American history: George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King. We'll explore the histories of these extraordinary people, discover wonderful design features in their monuments, and showcase connections with Chicago.
