Riverwalk Stroll Tour

Tour Description

The story of the Chicago River is really the history of the city. From its roots as a Potawatomi settlement to today, it has always been evolving and shaping Chicago. The recently completed riverwalk has now become one of the city’s most exciting amenities with so many interesting spaces, cultural attractions, and entertaining establishments.

This tour focuses on the story of the Chicago River and its influence on the city while immersed in the riverwalk experience. A wide range of fantastic architecture is showcased, including landmarks like the Wrigley Building and Merchandise Mart along with innovative 21st-century designs like River Point and 150 North Riverside.

Several of my favorite views of the city are featured on this tour, and I am excited to show them to you! Additionally, the Thursday evening tours occur after sunset, and many of these buildings sure look stunning at night!
