Chicago has one of the world’s best skylines, and one of those iconic views is of the Michigan Avenue Streetwall, a one-mile (two-kilometer) stretch of historic buildings lined up side-by-side fronting Grant Park. This unique assemblage of buildings is so identifiable for Chicago, pretty much every building in the collection has landmark protections and many were designed by iconic architects, like Daniel Burnham, Holabird & Roche, and Adler & Sullivan. Discover beautiful architecture and the stories hiding in those wonderful buildings.
All of this and so much more will be featured on this upcoming virtual tour on Facebook Live. Throughout this interactive experience, I will be reacting to your comments and answering your questions as we're together strolling along the Michigan Avenue Streetwall. There is no charge for the live-streamed tour, but tips are appreciated and you can see the variety of ways to send them here.
Register for this virtual event for free here and then log into Facebook at the start time to watch the live-stream. Make sure you follow Tours With Mike on Facebook to stay informed of all future virtual tours. I hope to see you on this one!
