Bus Tour - South Side LGBTQ Stories

When people think of Chicago’s LGBTQ neighborhoods, North Side areas, like Northalsted (Boystown) and Andersonville, commonly come to mind first. The city’s South Side, however, had lively LGBTQ activity long before any North Side neighborhood and it frequently shaped culture across the nation. This tour puts a spotlight on the evolutions of several South Side neighborhoods along with their hidden LGBTQ histories. The one-of-a-kind experience takes place on a fun trolley that starts and ends in downtown’s Millennium Park!

Public tours where you can get individual tickets are available exclusively through the Chicago History Museum (it includes free admission to the CHM within one week from tour date).
