App-Based Tours

So what is an app-based tour experience like?

In-person tours are fantastic, but there is also a lot to love about the app-based experience. It offers the most amount of flexibility possible when I go on tours. I do not have to adapt my schedule to any tour operator, and I have the freedom go anytime I want. A lot of times, tours “off the beaten path” are offered infrequently in-person, but app-based tours are always available. While I am on an app-based tour and see something along the way I want to explore a little longer, I am not rushed along and can go at my own pace. I never miss any of the tour content, because I can revisit it anytime. I can have a conversation with my friends while I am on the tour without feeling like I am being rude to the guide and the other patrons. The whole tour is under my control and it makes it a really fun, relaxing experience.

Tours With Mike partnered with eAtlas, a new tech company that created a mobile app platform for self-guided tours. You download the free app to your mobile device from either the Apple Store or Google Play, and then explore the tour options around the world. Creators produce guided tours for you to make in-app purchases, and you can see all the options from Tours With Mike here. After you buy one, it is yours to keep and you can do the tour whenever you want.

With the Tours With Mike app-based tours, high-quality experiences are ready anytime you want. The stories, views, and wow moments are all curated for you to discover. Tours With Mike app-based guided tours can also be done in two ways: 1. listen to the audio from me or 2. read the descriptions at each stop. Regardless of which option you choose, you will not miss any content.

I hope you check out my app-based offerings listed below and see tour flexibility is available without compromising quality. Thanks!

Printers Row Landmark District

The Printers Row area has had many lives: a prolific vice district, a bustling publishing center, a zone of urban decay, and a revitalized residential neighborhood. Throughout all these incarnations, it has always been one-of-a-kind. Despite being next to Chicago's Loop, the city's central business district, many people do not know much about this landmark area filled with unique features, beautiful lofts, and wonderful stories.
