Chicago’s Neighborhoods - Chinatown on Facebook Live

Chicago has at least 77 neighborhoods (it depends on who you ask), each with its own histories, evolutions, landmarks, and unique characteristics. The "Chicago's Neighborhoods" series reveals these stories and highlights the diversity of this wonderful city.

Chinatown is one of Chicago's most popular destinations between its fantastic restaurants and interesting shops. It also has a fascinating history, great architecture, and beautiful attractions, including Chinatown Square, Ping Tom Memorial Park, and one of the few Nine Dragon Walls outside of China. With the Lunar New Year happening around this time, it is the perfect occasion to explore this neighborhood!

All of this and so much more is featured on this upcoming Tours With Mike virtual tour on Facebook Live. Throughout this interactive experience, you can engage with everyone else on the tour and your questions will be answered as we're together strolling through Chinatown. There is no charge for the live-streamed tour, but tips are appreciated and you can see the variety of ways to send them here.

Register for this virtual event for free here and then log into Facebook at the start time to watch the live-stream. The recording will be available on the Tours With Mike Facebook page for the following 48 hours in case you would like to check it out again or if you know anyone who would like to see it. I hope to see you as we explore Chicago’s amazing neighborhoods!
